Removing Vapor from Clear Glass Dome

In January we ran a competition to come up with the best ways to get the concentrated vapor from the clear glass dome. This vapor is high quality and it is a waste to clean away with household cleaning products.

The following are the different ideas that our PureTHC newsletter subscribers came up with: 

• Alright, so after I read your newsletter today, I got to thinking...(.if you knew me, this would probably make you say "uhoh".)...  but it's not all that bad this time.  However, since i've never used a vapo before you'd probably call these theories instead of ideas; seeing as how i don't know exactly what i'm working with. any who lets not let that stop us.  these two ideas(theories) could either be used consecutively or separately I would believe. 
  
  The first:  Similar to a pumpkin scraper from a pumpkin carving kit.  However since we're working on glass this time, i'd suggest a material that's not going to scratch the glass.  If we were to use it while the condensations were in fact condensation, it could just be squeegee tipped.  However, seeing as how condensation will dry...and some of us won't clean it out before then... you'd have to use a material  more sturdy but yet still flexible enough to hug the inside of whatever size dome your working with and still  be capable of scraping off the concentrated residue.  A type of plastic maybe.  Furthermore, seeing as how i work with pottery as a  hobby, i know how much of a b**** it can be to get inside of the container without getting stuff all over your hands.  So for this i'd suggest attaching an arm to it that won't break while using it.
  
  And the second:  I was thinking of an alcoholic substance to be used as a cleaner.  I know i know, cleaners would be a waste.  However, for those who know how, they could use the final murky substance to make a type of heavenly honey-oil.  But seeing as how  honey-oil's an  illegal substance, even with a doctor's note, it could just be advertised as the final rinse to bring your glass dome to a sparkle... and your dome to a haze haha
  
  But i've  never used one before, so i don't  know if you could even use the scrapings from your vapo in the same manor or even if there'd be enough for hash-oil.  but i figured I'd give you my two cents anyhow.
  
  Should this be a good idea...and you should get the opportunity to make it and sell it.  Instead of a vapo, i would certainly appreciate  a couple cents,  from every product sold, so i can once again return to the place i call home:  Ocean Beach, CA. Until then I’ll keep smoking my herb and saving my money in Northern Cali where some of the finest herb grows.

• Soak (glass) product in isopropital <sp. 99% alcohol and let the alc. evaporate and presto instant tar hash
  
  I mix the tar with shake and roll it in  so i can store it and transport it , its as
  strong as bubble if you use nice nuggs .

• My idea:
  
  1. Install a button that allow the heating element to work at a LOW setting. say, at 100c.
  
  2. Remove the dome, and pour in a small amount of a non-toxic solvent, like ethanol. Swirl it, so it dissolves the condensed goodie.
  
  3. Pour the solvent into the cup of the heating element, set on LOW power. This will quickly evaporate the solvent without evaporating the oil.
  
  4. Now you have a pure oil in the cup. you can either switch to high power (HEHEHE) or collect it for later use.
